Understanding the various needs and emotional boundries of different learners offers an often entertaining and quirky way of looking at learning. As a trainer and competitor of Eventers and Show Jumpers, her experience in high level competition both in Australia and overseas, and the education of young horses has been hugely beneficial in understanding the needs of all emotional learners, both two legged and four legged. As a Natural Horsemanship Clinician, Annyka understands the innate characteristics and behavioral patterns that lead to high performance in any equine discipline. Annyka has recently written her first book "Engaging the Child Rider" and is currently writing her second, aimed at aiding parents and coaches to best understand their children's physical and emotional needs, offering many strategies to help the "whole bubble" (horse, rider, parent and coach) to develop a strategic and functional relationship that meets the needs of all involved. Her way of looking at things is that we all need a little bit of love, imagination, humility, focus, and a whole lot of grit! |
