We find ourselves fearful of the very thing we once loved, and can't understand why we are struggling to keep out energy and motivation up. Everyone else is happier, more successful, better looking - or so it seems.
The interesting thing is - That is only our perception.
And our perception can be changed in an instant when you know how. Procrastination and anxiety are emotional responses to perceived fearful situations. Our brain is so clever that it releases exactly the chemical responses to real threats in our environment, as it does to threats that we are creating in our mind.
Ever woken up from a bad dream in a sweat, heart pounding and sheets flying everywhere. There was no real threat, only what we created in our imagination. We do this to ourselves everyday, but in a more subtle manner. We create imaginary threats and then play them over and over again in our mind.
This can be a very confusing, frustrating and emotional time, but there is a way out of the fog. There is a way to get your energy back, clear your thoughts and move yourself to achieve what you put your mind to.
